About this role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you act as the link between customers, R&D, and production. You work closely with clients and prospects to define the optimal heat exchange solution tailored to their specific needs. You combine commercial insight with technical expertise and actively contribute to the company’s growth.
Your responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and build a network of clients and prospects
- Contact potential clients by phone, email, and during meetings (virtual or on-site) and analyze their technical needs
- Develop, with support from colleagues during the initial phase, the appropriate thermal solution based on available parameters
- Use tools such as Unilab to calculate heat exchange solutions and develop required materials and media
- Prepare quotations and present them convincingly to clients
- Be supported by experienced colleagues and the Business Unit Leader in more complex projects and price negotiations
Your profile
- Technical education and experience in thermodynamic processes
- Minimum five years of experience in sales
- Good knowledge of heat transfer principles
- Experience in sheet metal or steel work (asset, not required)
- Flexible regarding working hours
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of opportunity
- Ability to organize work independently
- Fluent in Dutch and English; basic knowledge of French
