About this role
At Axon, we are building an organisation where people are at the centre. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an HR Business Partner to take ownership of the day-to-day HR operations.
In this generalist role, you will combine elements of hard HR with recruitment and be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks. You ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and efficiently, while also being a visible point of contact for employees.
You will work closely with our HR Manager, who primarily focuses on strategic projects. You ensure continuity, quality, and a strong HR foundation within the organisation.
Your responsibilities
HR Administration & Payroll
- Manage the full HR administration (contracts, personnel files, career interruptions, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for both blue- and white-collar employees in Belgium.
- Apply your knowledge of social legislation and implement changes when necessary.
- Act as the first point of contact for questions regarding payroll, contracts, and social documents.
- Work closely with external partners (social secretariat, insurance providers, etc.).
Recruitment & Talent
- Take ownership of the recruitment process: from initial intake to final offer.
- Write and publish job ads and actively think about the right recruitment channels.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and guide the selection process.
- Contribute ideas on talent attraction and employer branding initiatives.
Processes & Optimisation
- Bring structure to existing processes and documentation.
- Identify improvement opportunities and take initiative to optimise workflows.
- Contribute to the further professionalisation of HR within a growing SME environment.
HR Support
- Act as the first point of contact for HR matters, both via the HR mailbox and on the work floor (French/Dutch).
- Support both the HR Manager and the Business Unit Leads.
- Stay up to date with social legislation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Your profile
- Experience in a broad HR role, ideally within an SME environment.
- Affinity with hard HR and administration.
- Knowledge of social legislation is a plus.
- Interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Fluent in French and Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Strong communicator with an approachable attitude towards colleagues.
- Structured working style and comfortable in a fast-moving SME environment.
- Motivated to contribute to a growing company that is constantly evolving.
